Q: What type of requirements are needed to create an Addoursearch.com widget?

Q: What types of sites do you support?
A: Any site that has a search capability can install and use our service. To name a few Blogging and forum services we've successfully tested Addoursearch.com on are: Blogger, Wordpress, Typepad, vBulletin, phpbb, and many more.

Q: Can I customize the look of the Addoursearch.com Badge?
A: By all means yes! We offer a few standard buttons on our site, however you can use your own hosted image as a badge. We also offer customized text links if you feel that will work better than an image. See our Best Practices page for recommendations on styles and placements.

Q: Do you do a revenue share for the ads you display on the installation pages?
A: No, unfortunatley we don't at this time. Our service is free because it is ad supported and the primary source of our revenue.

Q: I don't see an option for searches using the "post" method, only the "get" method... why is that?
A: Currently, Internet Explorer 7 only supports the "get" method and not the post. Since IE7 is the most popular browser on the market, we made the decision not to include this feature.
